Attani Enosa is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman with connections to the Ugaramleh, Peiudaram, Samsep, Kulkalgal, Wagadagam, Wuthathi, Ait Koedal, Kaurareg, Undoom Kuppi Kuppi Clan and Angamuthi Seven Rivers peoples. Born on Thursday Island and raised in Cairns, Attani's love of music is deeply rooted in her family and culture. Through Stories of Our Land, she proudly shares her voice, celebrating the strength, resilience and rich cultural heritage of the Torres Strait
Breanna Lee Wilson
Breanna Lee Wilson is a proud Wemba Wemba woman from Victoria whose passion for music is deeply connected to her culture, family and identity. Raised with strong values of love, support and belonging, Breanna uses her voice to share stories of resilience, hope and strength. Through Stories of Our Land, she celebrates the enduring connection First Nations people have to culture, community and Country through contemporary performance.
Ensemble Cherubim
Ensemble Cherubim is one of Brisbane's leading emerging chamber ensembles, renowned for its dynamic performances and artistic excellence. Founded in 2020 by co-Artistic Directors Clare Cooney and Rory Smith, the ensemble brings together outstanding young string musicians to present engaging chamber music experiences. For Stories of Our Land, Ensemble Cherubim creates a powerful musical bridge between First Nations storytelling and contemporary classical music.
Diana David
Diana David, also known as Dorzy Dee, is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman from Far North Queensland with connections to the Gunggandji, Southern Kaanju, Kulkalgau Ya and Kalau Kawau Ya peoples. A passionate storyteller and performer, Diana is dedicated to sharing First Nations voices, culture and identity through the arts. As narrator of Stories of Our Land, she guides audiences through a powerful journey of connection, resilience and cultural celebration.
Edwin Fejo
Edwin Fejo is a proud Larrakia and Warray person and a proud sista girl from the Northern Territory. A passionate vocalist and advocate, Edwin proudly shares stories of Country, culture and identity through music and performance. Through Stories of Our Land, Edwin celebrates the strength of community while championing inclusion, authenticity and the enduring spirit of First Nations peoples.
Jahmarly Davis
Jahmarly Davis is a proud Kabi Kabi and South Sea Islander man from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Having performed traditional song and dance since childhood with his family dance group, Gubbi Gubbi Dance, Jahmarly is passionate about sharing culture through movement. In Stories of Our Land, he honours his ancestors and celebrates the enduring strength of Country, culture and community through both traditional and contemporary dance.
Josiah Nehow
Josiah Nehow is a proud Torres Strait Islander man from the Zagareb Clan of Mer Island, Aboriginal from the Ngadjonji people of the Atherton Tablelands, and Melanesian from Tanna Island, Vanuatu. A passionate musician and performer, Josiah draws strength from his family, faith and cultural heritage. Through Stories of Our Land, he shares authentic stories of identity, resilience and connection, celebrating the rich cultural traditions that continue to inspire and guide him.
Lenae Haerewa-Kaa
Lenae Haerewa-Kaa is a proud Kaalamaya woman from Western Australia with strong Māori connections through the Ngāti Porou people. Born in Christchurch and raised across New Zealand and Australia, her cultural heritage has shaped her passion for music, storytelling and performance. Through *Stories of Our Land*, she celebrates culture, identity and resilience while honouring both her Aboriginal and Māori ancestry through the performing arts.
Lolarose
Lolarose is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young woman with Yidinji and Moa Island heritage, born and raised on Yidinji Country in Far North Queensland. Known by her Aboriginal name Burimimi—meaning The Little Fire Spark—Lolarose draws inspiration from her family, community and culture. Through dance, she honours the legacy of her grandfather, a respected Yidinji Elder and artist, sharing stories of Country, identity and connection through contemporary performance.
Taeg Twist
Taeg Twist is a proud Birri Gubba Birriah and Ngāpuhi artist from Waibene in the Zenadth Kes. Introduced to the performing arts through music, Taeg performed with the QANTAS and Gondwana Choirs from age 10, including appearances at the Shanghai World Expo, Melbourne Grand Prix and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Now a performer, teaching artist and advocate, Taeg recently toured nationally in The Sapphires while championing culturally inclusive spaces and Indigenous voices.
Uncle Lyndon Davis
Uncle Lyndon Davis is a respected Kabi Kabi Elder, internationally acclaimed artist, educator and cultural performer from the Sunshine Coast. Deeply connected to Country, he is dedicated to preserving and sharing Kabi Kabi culture through traditional knowledge, music, storytelling and visual arts. In Stories of Our Land, Uncle Lyndon performs on yidaki and clapsticks, bringing cultural authority and a powerful connection to Country to the production.
